Caracas Air, Venezuela’s leading aviation academy, has started accepting Bitcoin, according to a Twitter announcement made by CEO Oliver Läufer.

Those who opt for the new payment method will also get discounts.

Presently, Caracas Air has around 900 students, becoming one of the fastest-growing aviation academies in Latin America. Plagued by hyperinflation, Venezuela has been at the forefront of Bitcoin adoption since the cryptocurrency’s early days.

A new Cardano integration is bringing the sixth- largest crypto-asset one step closer to mainstream adoption. In a new Reddit post, crypto payment gateway solution NOWPayments unveils a plugin that allows WooCommerce and Shopify merchants to get paid in Cardano (ADA).

In addition to Shopify and WooCommerce, NOWPayments reveals that they are also looking to team up with global online marketplace Etsy to enable ADA payments.

The New York Stock Exchange plans to list the Valkyrie Investments bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) and have already applied to the Securities Exchange Commission.

The SEC has 45 days to conduct a review on either to approve or disapprove the proposal.

The Valkyrie Investments is very optimistic as the new chairman, Gary Gensler is crypto-friendly and NYSE is now the largest with a market cap of $25.62 trillion as of February 2021
